Artist's Comments

This one is based on a dream I had which was part day residue, part symbolism. The dialogue translates almost directly into a conversation I had shortly before going to bed about certainty in relationships and the idea of being in love as a conscious decision rather than an uncontrollable force. The White Knight represents the person I had the conversation with.

I wish I'd used some kind of reference while doing it, as I spent a lot of time just trying to figure out how things should look. Some readers noted that Cyaneus has gotten more eastern looking--or at least longer. Overall I'm happy with it. I drew the panels so large that each them of them is desktop size or larger, and the last one is actually my current desktop.

This is such a beautifully-drawn allegory, I definately want to add it to my favorites.
I'm especially impressed by the dragon's poses and the angles you drew him in. (at least, I'm guessing it's a "him")

When I first noticed this, it almost struck me as if I was being talked to by a kin-friend of mine; who just happens to be a dragon.

Favorite'd because it reminds me much of my own awakening, and what it means to be an Otherkin. :3
