This one is about making choices that are best for the one you love, even if they directly go against what it is you wanted. Mahatma Gandhi believed that the second of the "seven blunders of the world" was "pleasure without conscience." I believed then that being in love with this person would result in my own happiness but would only trouble him further, so the best thing to do in that case was to encourage him to love someone else.
